About Me
I come to this work with an interest in words, meaning, and connection – the different ways in which we experience reality and the different ways in which we share ourselves with others. These concerns become embodied and relational in the practice of psychotherapy.

My background in critical research grounds my practice in the principles of compassion, justice, and freedom. I’m interested in the spiritual, political, and identity-based dimensions of well-being.

My Approach
My approach to therapy is integrative, drawing on psychodynamic, somatic, parts work (IFS), and emotion-focused principles and techniques. I believe that insight and healing happen when we bring unconscious patterns to awareness, explore our embodied experience, tend to the many parts of ourselves, and become familiar with our emotions in the different shapes that they take.
The clients that I connect with are often sensitive and reflective. I work well with teenagers and young adults; queer clients of all ages; people experiencing burnout; and survivors of trauma.
I have experience working with a wide range of issues, including:
-
Life transitions
-
Queerness and identity
